Mother's Day can never be very especial than to celebrate 50 years of marital bliss.

Following celebrations in Ubay town yesterday, Ex-Gov. David Belarmino Tirol and incumbent Board Member Amalia Reyes Tirol Ph.D. will renew marital vows at 4 p.m. today as they mark 50 golden years in marriage.

Wedding rites will be solemnized at the Graham Leopoldo-Belarmino-Tirol Memorial Church, Graham Avenue, this city.

Blessed in his political career, former governor Tirol has served the country and this province for 35 fruitful years.

He was councilor (1960-1963) of this city, senior board member (1963-1967) and vice governor (1967-1984) of the province, an assemblyman (1984-1986), congressman (1987-1992) of the second district and governor (1992-1995).

An accomplished woman, wife, mother and grandmother, David's wife Amalia is now serving the Boholano's in her third term as board member of the second district of the province.
