Local gov’t of Catigbian gives plaque of appreciation to MHO

The Local Government Unit of Catigbian recently gave Dr. Jacqueline Majella R. Uy, municipal health officer a plaque of appreciation during its LGU night in Baang, Catigbian.
Dr. Uy resigned from her position as health officer after working as a part of the Catigbian Performance Team for one year and 3 months.
During her stint in office, Dr. Uy was the first doctor who opened the Catigbian Municipal Health Center (CMCHC) with five-bed lying-In and served as program manager of the different health programs in the municipality . She was also a part of committees including the Catigbian Anti-Indigency Committee which came up with the Catigbian Yellow Card program. She also saw through the passing and implementation of the user’s fee ordinances for the sustainability of the health center and the approval of the center as a TB DOTS accredited facility.
Dr. Uy has been replaced by Dr. Eldrin Mascarinas.
