A teenager was shot dead in Carmen town while a member of the Crips gang was arrested in Lila for illegal possession in separate incidents last week.
In Carmen town, still unidentified suspects shot dead a young man in Sitio Mahayahay, Barangay Montesuerte last Oct. 7.
The victim was identified as one Charlie Guboy, 19, single and a resident of the same place.
Initial reports revealed that the Carmen PNP station received an alert about 7 am Tuesday that a dead body was found in a rice field.
The body, which sustained multiple bullet wounds, was confirmed to be that of Guboy.
Investigations conducted by elements of the Carmen police station showed that Guboy watched a variety show which was part of the observance of the barangay fiesta.
Witnesses said the young man went on his way home about 1 o'clock dawn when bullets rained on him.
The victim sustained fatal gunshots wounds on his head and his back that caused his instantaneous death.
Police investigators are still pursuing the investigations to determine the identities and motives of the suspects.
Meanwhile, a member of the Crips gang was detained by policemen in Lila town after they seized short firearms from him.
The suspect was identified as one Arthur Lague, 23, single and a resident of Barangay Bonkokan, Lila.
Policemen on routine patrol chanced upon the suspect who yielded assorted firearms including a caliber .357 Magnum with four live bullets, three caliber .38 guns and a caliber .357 along with his personal belongings. - Bohol Sunday Post
