MANILA - It has been exactly a week since super typhoon Yolanda lashed at the Visayas region.
Now, President Aquino has taken charge of the massive relief operations on Thursday night.
He made the rounds of repacking centers.
He has also assigned specific tasks to his Cabinet members.
His actions come amid intense pressure and heavy criticisms on government's alleged slow response and the lack of an organized relief effort.
