Cebu's leaders to discuss BPO parking space at IT Park Business process outsourcing (BPO) workers at the IT Park in Cebu City have been complaining about the lack of parking spaces and high parking fees of existing parking areas, and Cebu City Mayor Tomas Osmeña is taking action. Osmeña and Cebu Governor Hilario Davide III are set to meet to discuss the plan to open a parking space for BPO employees at the IT Park. The mayor wants to use a provincially-owned lot right across from the park. Osmeña said the city is willing to enter into a possible agreement with the provincial government for the use of the lot. Davide said he will talk with the provincial administrator over the mayor's proposal. Davide and Osmeña said the parking fee should be very affordable for BPO workers.
