At least 70 houses were destroyed in the town of Jagna, Bohol after it was hit by a twister on Friday (July 27, 2012).
Gerry Araneta of the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Council (MDRRMC) said the twister hit barangays Ipil, Bunga-mar, Can-upao, and Cantagay at around 10:45 a.m.
Thirteen fishing vessels were also damaged as the twister moved towards the sea, where it eventually dissipated.
Authorities estimate the damage to cost P800,000.
