The Dumaguete City police are investigating the recent killing of lending company manager and are looking at two possible angles in the case.

Police investigators are looking at "bad creditors" and the link of the case to the robbery and murder of one of the collectors in Cadawinonan a couple of months ago.

Police Senior Inspector Errol Garchitorena said the victim is Rosalie Galleto, 30, single, a native of Dimiao, Bohol, residing at Barangay Bagacay, Dumaguete City.

Galleto was at the roadside along Real Street around 11:27 p.m. Saturday, waiting for the tires of a companion's motorcycle to be vulcanized at the nearby shop, when two men on a motorcycle passed by and came back after a few minutes and started shooting.

One of the men fired at Galletor manager several times.

Galleto's body bore a gunshot wound on her left side from a .45 caliber pistol.

The gunmen, according to witness Roger Bonghanoy, covered their faces with cloth. They fled after seeing that Galleto had fallen down.

Policemen rushed Galleto to the Holy Child Hospital but the victim died a few minutes later.
