Nakaranas ng malawakang blackout ang Lalawigan ng Bohol kaninang ala-una ng madaling-araw dahil sa ahas.

Sa imbestigasyon ng National Transmission Corporation (TransCo), dumaan sa transmission line ang ahas kaya nakuryente ito at sumabog ang transformer sa bayan ng Ubay sa Bohol.

Ang transformer ang siyang tumatanggap ng kuryente mula sa geothermal powerplant ng Leyte.

Inaasahang tatagal pa ng buong araw ang blackout dahil ngayong tanghali lang inaasahang darating sa bayan ng Tubigon ang kapalit na transformer at ibibiyahe pa ito sa Ubay. Report from June Perez, Cebu Correspondent

There was an on-off blackout in Tagbilaran and Baclayon last night (15th).  Maybe other areas.  Does anyone know the reason?  Rumours abound that it was caused by an explosion in Dauis.

It was a scheduled brown-out to replace rotten poles according to my text advisory from Bohol Light Co. but when i had read it in the newspaper on following Sunday I was surprised that it was a snake that had crawled into a section of the main power area causing everything to burn and cause the brown out that lasted for some time in Bohol.

Today on Lesaage st and parts of Tagbilaran a malfunctioning reservoir machine that brings water in parts of the city has failed to work and now for two days there has been no water flowing into certain areas of Tagbilaran....

If not one thing it is another here these days....so hago so kapoy....
