Never did a graduation rite mark the end of any endeavor; but conversely, it is always the beginning of facing up to new challenges down the road.
This is what Gov. Edgar m. Chatto and PInsp Romeo Sentinta, Jr. of the National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) meant when both dared the members of Class Genesis of the 4th Regional Public Safety Company Battalion 7 to preserve the peace and security of the province which would showcase the best years they have acquired through rigorous trainings.
The recognition rites last Monday which took place in Sitio Lawis, Brgy. Catagbacan Norte, Loon saw the Formal Recognition and Opening of Collars of the new team by PInsp Sentinta marking the culmination of each member’s life as part of the Philippine National Police (PNP).
Gov. Chatto reminded the Genesis Team that “keeping our province safe is always the responsibility of all Boholanos†and that everyone should work together for “there is no development without peace and there is no progress without the concerted action of all.â€
The governor also encouraged the men in uniform to serve as guide for the Boholanos and keep everyone away from any intrusion that will be a threat to the peace and security of the province.
To show his all-out support for the force, Chatto gave his word that the whole team of the Provincial Government of Bohol will be fully supportive, will continue cooperating and working in tandem with the PNP for the common objective of preserving Bohol and pave the way for development and progress.
“Safety and security is on top of the agenda for all Boholanos and all PNP personnel,†Chatto told the graduates. Therefore, “the Capitol is always open to support you all the way so you can do your tasks to the most optimum level,†Chatto added.
The governor advised Team Genesis to establish contact with Provincial Administrator Alfonso Damalerio II, the Safety and Security Cluster Head at the Capitol, for faster and quicker response to emergency situations in the province.
