This as the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) has scheduled shutdown of some of its transmission facilities for repairs especially along the Tagbilaran- Garcia Hernandez 69 kilovolts transmission line.
In and advisory sent to the media, NGCP through Atty. Cynthia Alabanza said two sets of power service interruption are in fact, expected within the week.

The same shutdown would also affect power consumers of BOHECO II from the towns of Valencia, Garcia Hernandez, Jagna, Duero, Guindulman and Valencia.
And since Philippine Mining Sinter Corporation uses the same line that is strung until Tagbilaran, the sintering corporation’s services can be disrupted on the same day.
In Tagbilaran, consumers served by Bohol Light Company Inc. also get to experience the power outage between 6 AM to 5 PM.
While NGCP did not specify if the power service cut would be for the entire duration, the company hinted segmented activities along the transmission line and added power interruptions are expected 45 minutes before and 45 minutes after the activities.
Meanwhile, on November 30, Wednesday, the Ubay Substation and the transmission line along the Ubay-Alicia 69 KV is also set for annual preventive maintenance and structure repair activities between 6 AM to 5 PM.
Areas to be affected are those served by BOHECO II in the towns of Guindulman, Candijay, Mabini, Anda, parts of Alicia and Duero including Marcela Industrial Plant.
