Uwat Nga Wala Masuwat
sinulat ni Michael Ligalig

Misarasay ang pinitik ning dughan
sa dihang nakita ko ang imong kamot
nga gituy-od ug gidawat sa laing kamot
ug daw imong gitingal ang imong kamot
sa mga ngabil nga naghigwaos
            sa imong katahom

Buot kong motimbakuwas sa akong gilingkuran
ug labnihon ang imong bukton aron mahunong ang pagdailos
sa inyong pahiyom nga daw mikatay sa tumoy
            sa inyong mga tudlo

Ania na usab ako daw gimino sa lubnganan sa akong mga damgo
Wala ko pa gani makita ang imong panagway sanglit
anaa ako sa imong likod apan giisip ko na
            ikaw mao siya

Sa kanhi kong gitagong pagsalimuang tungod kanimo (aduna pa ba?)
buot kong masayod kung nagtanggil na ba ug singsing imong tudlo
kay kung aduna man, silotan ko ang akong kaugalingon
tungod sa akong katalawan nga moluhod
            sa imong tiilan

Ah, kining balak nga way hinungdan angay nang undangon
Dili ba miingon man ako nga dili na magsulat ug mga balak
alang niadtong babaye nga nagbiay-biay kaniadto
            sa akong pagbati?

Ang balak matawo gihapon diay kini pag-usab bisan
            wala nay kinabuhi

bisan ug patay na ang sinugdanan ug kataposan
kay lagi aduna pa may mahibiling
            uwat nga wala masuwat
