"Tuba" (same pronunciation as the coco wine) also means "to harvest", BUT specifically for banana. "Nagtuba ko'g saging."  We have quite a lot of words that are equivalent to the word "harvest" or "pick". They are specific only to certain crops.

Examples:

Kutlo - kamunggay, batong, salingsing/buwak sa kalabasa, etc.
Pupu - prutas
Dughit - prutas (using a pole with or without a pouch)
Saka - lubi
Kubkub - kamote
Panglin - ubi
Ibot - sibuyas
Ani - humay
Sanggi - mais

nindot ning mga harvest words; dugang lng ko gamay  ;D

saka sa lubi og mananggot - mananggite = tig kuha sa tuba  ;D
kubkub = kutkut man ni sa Dvo
dughit = sungkit
sanggi og hagdaw - sanggi sa mais karon, ugma pang hagdaw kay basig naa pay nabilin
tapas og tubo - cut the sugarcane
hubas sa sapa - catch fish in the river thru drying

nagtuba og bulig sa saging i think means the act of cutting the bunch of bananas

i promise you, i'll be yours forever :)

"Buna" or "Agtang" is forehead. Pero kon "buna-buna" na gani na, mao na kana ang area immediately above the genital, ubos sa tiyan. Busa, pagbantay mo kon hapuhapon na ang inyong "buna-buna", kay tingalig maderetso, lipaton lang ka.

"Papangig" - short for "apapangig"

"Kamot" is hand, pero kon arm na gani, "bukton" na ni siya.

"Kumo", "Kinumo" - fist

"Palad", "pa'ad" - palm

"Batiis" - usahay "bitiis"

"Kuyamoy" - fingers

"Tudlo" - fingers and toes

"Kumagko" - biggest finger, biggest toe

"Atngaw" - Binol-anon sa "atngal"

"Buto", "itlog", "lagay" - scrotum, testicle, testes. Note: "buto" in Cebu is the female genital

"Katiw" - clitoris

"Matris" or "tagoangkan" - uterus

General term man seguro ang "lagay". Panit lang, or panit and all. Mao ni ang "scrotum". Ang "testicle" maoy "itlog".  Pero for non-medical purposes, way kalainan sa atong paggamit.

"Gihikap sa b***t akong itlog." Technically, dili mahikapan ang itlog; ang lagay ra. Pero kon naay pilosopong b***t nga nanghilabot nimo unja moingon nga wala sija mohikap sa imong itlog, nah, imbis imo ra untang itukmod, imo tingaling makulatahan ha ha ha.

By the way, if "buto" is pronounced like "dugo" (blood), the word now refers to a male animal, usually baboy, iro, kanding etc., or any animal with a testicle.

"Usa, duha" man nang "saruhan", mora'g kantahon. Tinapulan, pero I think naa nay origin sa Indo-Malayan language. There's a town in Leyte nga kantahon ang pag-ihap sa gibaligya nga bulad aron dili malibog. Managsama siguro ang gigikanan ani. This is the subject of a documentary film nga nakadaug sa usa ka film festival sa US. Kon wa ko malimot "Selling Songs of Leyte" ang ulohan niining maong lilas. Mugna ni siya ni Eli Africa, a Waray. Tingali'g naa pud ni sa youtube.
