It has been 100 worthwhile days for the fresh political stint of Mayor Niño Rey Boniel at the Municipal Hall with a number of major development projects already in store for the constituents, offering the waste management facility and another modern day care and health center as the latest.
In fact, Boniel recently hosted provincial officials who assisted him in inaugurating the Hingotanan waste facility, and a modern day care and health center, which is an addition to the one at the adjacent Barangay of Nueva Estrella.
Provincial Board Member Ma. Fe Camacho-Lejos and Emmanuel "Dong Lee" Camacho of the Governor's Office led the inauguration ceremony for the waste facility that will siphon waste straws at Hingotanan Island which is known for its vast seaweeds plantation.
In another highlight, Vice-Governor Julius Herrera and second district Representative Roberto Cajes led the ceremonial ribbon-cutting for the Day Care and Health Center at the Poblacion area.
Another modern day care center was earlier constructed in barangay Nueva Estrella.
This town already has a number of modern day care centers which have been instrumental in the early childhood development of youth, according to KALAHI-CIDDS Area Coordinator Fe Abierra.
