Iloilo establishments compliant with SRP on school supplies
ILOILO CITY, June 1 (PNA) -- Establishments in Iloilo are compliant with the suggested retail price (SRP) for school supplies, according to director Diosdado Cadena Jr. of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Iloilo.

Last month, DTI released its SRP guidelines for school supplies in line with the opening of classes.

“We are pleased to report that after we released the SRP on school supplies, our regular establishments are complying with it. They even have items that are lower than the SRP,” he added.

Cadena said that as of date, they have not received any reports or complaints on the SRP imposed by DTI.

However, Cadena said that regular monitoring of the prime and basic commodities which is done twice a week will continue.

DTI Iloilo has hired personnel to conduct intensive monitoring on prices until end of this month. (PNA)

John 3:16-18 ESV
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son (Jesus Christ), that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
