Holy Family of Nazareth Nazarethanians devastated the budding crew of the Bohol International Learning Center Phoenix, 81-30 to take the last slot of the semi final round of the high school competition of the ongoing 17th Bohol Schools Amateur Athletic Association (BSAAA) 2nd John Geesnell Baba Yap inter-School Hoop Cup at the Bohol Wisdom School gym.

The Nazarethanians led by Shun Homer Mula with 24 points, took turns in castigating the Phoenix as they fired authoritatively their ammunitions with no mercy from all angles of the court to make the breakaway, 41-15 in the early going of the game.

Mula continued to play like a fearies fighter firing with accurate marksmanship hi arsenals and employing a perfect conspiracy with Jefferson Almasa 16 points, and Tom Greson dela Cruz 12 points to overrun the Phoenix and erect a huge lead, 81-30, as the buzzer sounded ending the regulation time.

The Phoenix is still winless in 9 games to remain as cellar dwellers of the tournament. Their remaining assignment will be against one of the tournament titans, the Holy Spirit School (7-2).

Alfred Dejan exploded with 11 points in the 2nd period to give the Holy Spirit School mini Crusaders a comfortable lead, 36-12 at lemon time.

The high scoring Dejan was joined by Renato Baliar, Sisinando Hampac, and big boy Ronald Bungabong in their demolition effort to stay ahead consistently in the 1st half.

There was no one but Arnold Perenio who stood tall for the Merne Graham Memorial School Marions and fought singlehandedly the mini Crusaders but to no avail as the latter was too much aggressive in their game plan.

The wards of Coach Rice Reyes continued to play like a well oiled machine towards getting a historic sweep in the elimination round of the mini category of the tournament with 6 victories.

Holy Spirit School Crusaders dumped the Merne Graham Memorial School, 63-30.
