Single detached is preferable. I want to have my feet firmly on Mother Earth most of the time, and I've always preferred to plant on the ground and not settle for pots.

(Alas, I'm nearer the sky than the ground where I am now...)

for me, in case of earthquake occur Bungalow is more safer than a flat in high raised building but in terms of security against bad elements flat is more secured than bungalow type.

but, i still chose Bungalow because i don't have choice, high raised buildings are not yet constructed herein my place at Macaban City.

Only for me, these houses are too big. I want mine just 1 story and simple, but the exterior facade and the stucco style is nice. The landscape is also very nice; something like that.

I have always been fond of Spanish-looking homes. Simple but elegant.

Size of home is not as important as the lot size. Ideally, i would like to build a house (preferably 1 floor plan) on a wooded terrain, with rolling hills. I want a spacious backyard to build a porch, a bonfire centered in the backyard, and tiled floor (bricked) as what we have. I want to be able to come back home, and grill or bbq whenever i want. I want to see the backyard , ample space to garden and grow my green veggies and flowers.

Preferably the same style as that my parents have. Only not a 2 story house as my parents have. I want only 1 story. Plus, ug ma tiguwang na ta, dili realistic to climb 2 stories to the master's suite. hehe.

Simple pero lami kaayo ang kanonon. Piniritong galongong, sinugbang isda, rice, ug toyo. Ning inom mi ug tubig (prisko), and ahong lolo ning inum ug tuba. Ah sus.
