What is your confirmation name?

My confirmation name is: Gabriel. I chose it in honor of Archangel Gabriel, the messenger of the Annunciation.

ajo kay makapili ug confirmation name. antik na jod ko kay sa ahong confirmation is the same date sa ahong baptismal certificate. wa pa koy kalibutan.

Ching,

They recommended my confirmation name to be "Abidianus" after St. Abidianus. Ning request lang ko sa ahong confirming priest if I could have "Gabriel" as my confirmation name. Salamat ko nga he allowed it.

Ma kuyawan pod ko if akong confirmation name was 'Abidianus'. Ha ha ha!

Ching, unsa man diay imong confirmation name? :)

Concepcion ra pero sa baptismal Maria concepcion...libog ko usahay sa una ug asay gamiton. so concepcion na laman kay mongsamot ug kataas.
year 1952 panagsa ra man daw mong-anha ang bispo. unja naatul nga sa ahong bunjag diha so gicofirmahan na laman pod. so completo nga ninggawas sa simbahan :)

Awww, nindot baya nang "Maria Concepcion" nindot ang combination. So kuan diay to imoha, Ching, gi doblehan ang celebration. Baptismal og confirmation pa gayod. :)

this is the first time i learned that there is such a thing as a confirmation name.  i was confirmed when i was 2 years old.  no one asked me to choose a name, so i presume both my baptismal and confirmation names are the same.

Yes, there is a baptismal name and there is a confirmation name. However, one can retain one's baptismal name as the confirmation name.
