equal in what?  equally valid, equal number of adherents?  the knee-jerk answer here would be to say that one's own religion is over and above other religions.

i'd rather say that unless one is embarking on a scholarly study of comparative religion, there's no comparing of religions.  to say that one's own religion is better than those of others is to be insecure about one's own faith.

i chose to rest my weary heart in jesus christ through mary immaculate.  inshallah...

No such thing as religion being equal to another's faith one is practicing. No better way of getting into a religion, but no matter how anyboby sees his religion as being superior to other religions, it is in the way how you practice your faith.

If your faith is as strong as you have believed that God really exists, that represents all the good things promised in heaven. then religion would have not even matter in its categorical name.

Nowadays, we can speak of our own religions and be proud of it, but nonetheless the devil will always draw away people from their beliefs and that's why every religion basically has been corrupted in some way or another.

Nganong moingon man ka nga pareha ang verse sa Koran with that in the Bible? Even if there are some underlying verses in the koran that were derived in the bible, that doesn't make any sense to surmise that they are one in the same. These two faiths alone are two opposite sides of the coin.

Islam and Christianity are totally two different religious faiths. Christianity proclaims that Christ Jesus is the only begotten Son of God, an integral part of the Holy Trinity: God the Father, God the Son Jesus Christ and God the Holy Spirit. Three aspects, but One God. The fundamental core tenet of Catholic (Christian) Faith is this: That it is through Christ's death in the crucifixion that all have a chance towards salvation, if but he believes in Jesus Christ as His Lord and Savior and manifests that love and acceptance through a living faith.

The Catechism of the One, Holy, Roman Catholic Church declares:
454 The title "Son of God" signifies the unique and eternal relationship of Jesus Christ to God his Father: he is the only Son of the Father (cf. Jn 1:14, 18; 3:16, 18); he is God himself (cf. Jn 1:1). To be a Christian, one must believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God (cf. Acts 8:37; 1 Jn 2:23).

Islam does not recognize Jesus Christ as Divine, but rather, emphasizes that Jesus Christ , or as what Muhammad refers to him as 'ISSA', was a mere prophet. The Quran forbids praying to Jesus, rather, emphasizes that prayer should be directed to Islam's version of God, Allah.

That is the difference between these two religious faiths.
