According to NYC Chairman Aquino, the TAYO search encourages more young people to find innovative solutions and to challenge status quo through the organizations to which they belong. As movers in their communities, they can, through simple, replicable projects, make a difference in the lives of the people they desire to serve and in the cause they choose to espouse.

From 120 entries on its first year, this year yielded 145 youth organizations waiting to be recognized for their social and moral dynamism and their capacity to wholly take on the challenges of nation building.

The first search concluded with 20 finalists who went to Manila for the national judging. President Arroyo bestowed the awards in Malacañang Palace on April 11, 2003. (PIA)

John 3:16-18 ESV
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son (Jesus Christ), that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
