Most Pinoys still believe PGMA - Bunye
MANILA (29 June 2005) -- "We believe that most of them (Filipino people) still believe in the President and consider her as the last hope in moving forward with the economic gains posted under her leadership."

The statement was made by Press Secretary and Presidential Spokesman Ignacio Bunye as President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo's confession on the wiretapped conversation reportedly failed to grant her wish that the controversy be ended to allow her to "move on with the business of governing."

Bunye said the outburst of emotions from President Arroyo's detractors over her statement is a far cry of the hand of forgiveness extended by ordinary Filipinos.

He pointed out that the Filipino people are more concerned about the movement of their lives amid economic hardships.

"We have more pressing problems to face and must move on; kicking and cursing will get us nowhere," the Palace official added. (PIA-MMIO)

John 3:16-18 ESV
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son (Jesus Christ), that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
