PGMA addresses nation tonight
MANILA (27 June) -- "President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo is addressing the nation tonight at 7 p.m. on an issue of vital concern."
Press Secretary and Presidential Spokesman Ignacio Bunye made the announcement as calls to end the Senate and House probes of the "tape tale" and "jueteng" controversies start to escalate.
Bunye revealed President Arroyo will go on nationwide evening primetime in a move to stabilize the political and economic condition of the country, ease public anxieties, and push the "wiretapping" and illegal gambling pay-offs issues to the margins of the public agenda, and shoot down desperate calls for snap elections.
Meanwhile, the Palace official urged the public to tune in to the broadcast media at that time. (PIA-MMIO)

John 3:16-18 ESV
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son (Jesus Christ), that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
