1,971 pass second Korean language test
The Philippines got the highest passing rate among other labor sending
countries included in the Korea Employment System in the recently
concluded Korean Language Test.
Administrator Rosalinda Dimapilis-Baldoz said out of the 2,803
applicants, 1,971 or 70.3 percent passed the Korean language examination
given last November 27, 2005.
Baldoz said passing the Korean Language Test is now a requirement
before an applicant can work in Korea under the new employment permit
system. The International Korean Language Foundation (IKLF) conducts the
test in coordination with the Philippine Overseas Employment
Administration.
Baldoz said the result of the examination is now posted at the
websites www.poea.gov.ph and www.glokorean.org. Applicants who passed
the test are requested to submit their respective valid medical test result at
the Manpower Registry Division, Ground Floor, POEA Building, Mandaluyong
City.
The names of KLT passers will be automatically included in the Korea
roster of foreign workers that will be available for selection by Korean
employers.
In a related development, Baldoz said POEA has expanded its short
messaging service to hasten the flow of information intended to the Korea
EPS applicants.
According to Baldoz, applicants may send queries using the following
syntax:
1. Verification of visa issuance:
POEA EPSV <FamilyName FirstName MiddleName>
2 Verification of status of application:
 POEA EPSS <FamilyName FirstName MiddleName>
3. Verification of Korean Language Test Result:
 POEA EPST <FamilyName FirstName MiddleName>
4. General Information on Korea EPS:
 POEA EPSI <Query>
Text messages shall be sent to 2385 for Globe and 276 for Smart phones.

John 3:16-18 ESV
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son (Jesus Christ), that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
