Korean envoy lauds Amadeo police for investigative work on murder case

AMADEO, Cavite, June 1 (PNA) -- The Korean Embassy to the Philippines, through its Consul-General Park Yong Jeung, has lauded the Amadeo Police for their efforts in gathering evidence that led to the arrest of the suspects involved in the murder of Korean nationals in this Cavite upland town on Oct. 2, 2015.
The Korean high-ranking diplomat Jeung awarded on Tuesday to the Amadeo station chief of police Sr. Insp. Dhefry Punzalan and team members Senior Police Officer 2 (SPO2) Oliver Salazar, PO3 Roberto Lacasa and PO3 Kithy Boy Costelo for their investigative work.
The plaque of recognition was signed by Korean Ambassador Kim Jae Shin on May 25, 2016.
The South Korean diplomatic mission recognized the efforts and contributions extended by Amadeo police investigating team to the early resolution to the murder case as “worthy accomplishment.â€
A grateful Consul General also cited Punzalan and his team for excellence in their assigned tasks and instrumental in restoring the credibility of the PNP organization they are part of.
Punzalan received the award together with his colleagues from the visiting Korean Consul General in the police station. (PNA)
