Killer of habal-habal driver now in hiding

A SUSPECT in at least two cases of killings could not be located anymore after a warrant was issued for his arrest.
The police could no longer locate suspect Christopher Buslon, tagged as the killer in the death of habal-habal driver Nelson Pacatang whose body was found dumped at a grassy lot in Cabawan district this city, dawn of the Tagbilaran City fiesta May 1, 2006.
The search for him came after an arrest warrant was issued by Regional Trial Court Branch 49 Judge Fernando Fuentes for the case of Complex Crime for Qualified Carnapping filed in court by the City Prosecutor’s Office last month.
A witness identified Buslon to be the person who hired Pacatang on the evening before the victim was found dead the next morning.
The same suspect is also facing another murder charge for the death of a farmer in Bicao, Carmen shot to death last month.
Witnesses positively identified Buslon as the assailant. The case is pending resolution at the Provincial Prosecution’s Office under Fiscal Eric Ucat.
The police unit in Pilar where the suspect’s address was indicated, the Bohol Provincial Intelligence and Investigation Division and the City Police are now coordinating for the speedy arrest of the suspect.
