DTI coordinates livelihood activities in Leyte

Maasin City (23 June 2005) -- The Department of Trade and Industry has been at the forefront of initiating livelihood activities but with strong coordination with the local government units and other concerned national line agencies.

According to Michael Nuñez, DTI Provincial Director, his office managed a vegetable production in partnership with a Non-Government Organization and the provincial government.

Nuñez said he has been linkaging with Technical Education Skills Development Authority and Department of Science and Technology, among others. for other profitable concerns that affect the economic plight of the people. (PIA – Southern Leyte)
