BBC News - Modern life causing loneliness, says Mental Health charity
Modern life is making people feel increasingly lonely, according to a mental health charity.

The Mental Health Foundation says that one in 10 people in the UK often feel lonely.

The figure is much higher among teenagers, the elderly, and mothers with young children.

Modern life or the  materialistic society to blame for it.
Both parents need to work to meet the bills leaving
   the children under the care of someone else or
   the elderly parent at home  or nursing home.
The economic hardship is  the culprit of all this headache.
