Pundok Habagat will be conducting Basic Mountaineering Course (BMC) and Single Rope Technique (SRT) workshops on January 12-13, 2008 at the Roxas Park, Garcia Hernandez, Bohol. Mountaineers Federation of the Philippines, Inc. (MFPI) Certificates will be given to those who successfully complete the two-day lecture and practicum sessions. Kanu Culture Adventures, which opened last October 4, 2007, is the exclusive authorized dealer of Habagat Outdoor Equipment in Bohol. The shop also carries such outdoor gear and apparel brands as Mulatto, Third World Outdoors (T.W.O.), Coleman, U12 Radgear, and Fluidsurf. Photographs and artworks by local artists are on exhibit at the shop until January 15, 2008. Admission is free.

Pundok Habagat, a local group of outdoor enthusiasts and hobbyists, embarked on their latest adventure last January 5, 2007 in Antequera, Bohol. They started by rappelling down around 40 meters off Bungahan Bridge then trekked the river upstream to Mag-aso Falls.
