replacement of the spam post:

Human nature is reflected in the constant struggle between good and evil and is enhanced by humanity’s growing connection with science and technology. Both Stevenson’s Dr Jekyll from “The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde” and Norman Osborn from the 2002 film Spiderman, portray the notion of humanity’s mounting technological and scientific association and its influence on the battle between good and evil within each of us.

Through “The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde” Stevenson highlights the idea of science as driving the ongoing battle between good and evil. The quote “that in the agonised womb of consciousness, these polar twins should be continuously struggling,” illustrates the battle occurring within Jekyll’s mind as Hyde attempts to take over. The fact that this novel was set in the Victorian Era suggests this idea as originating in much earlier years and society’s view of such notions. Dr Jekyll is a doctor and for this reason he gains a high regard and position in society and these shows a strong belief or acceptance of the discourse of science within the context.

Although Jekyll utilises science in an effort to prevent man’s true nature, instead he reveals his very own “savage beast” which ultimately leads him to his demise both as a person and within society.   Dr Jekyll’s regard in society is developed through the beginning of the novel and the notion of such a person transforming into something so hideous and depraved as Hyde suggests that every individual has something dark within them. Furthermore, we discover that with Jekyll’s continual obsession with the drug that transforms him, Hyde emerges more powerful, aggressive and greedier than before which reinforces the idea of science’s influence on the struggle between good and evil.

Similarly in Sam Raimi’s 2002 film Spiderman we see Norman Osborn’s transformation into the Green Goblin which is provoked by science yet again- a chemical solution to enhance his abilities.

John 3:16-18 ESV
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son (Jesus Christ), that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.

how can one tell if it's a spam or not, tb.com?  i can't tell the difference.  there are just some nonsensical posts, i've noticed.  they're different from humor and witticisms in that they're almost like the walking dead, uh-huh, somewhat like zombies.  (i didn't mean the kind of zombies that i might welcome, according to my avatar.) :-[
