A question on Chastisement
« on: November 21, 2012, 01:43:02 AM »
Do you think it's wrong to pray FOR a big-time chastisement for the USA - in light of the reelection of the most pro-abortion, pro-homosexual marriage president in history?

There are reasons for which the saints on Earth could will for a chastisement upon the Earth, first of which would be because the sins of our nation--abortion, fornication, rejection of God--are an afront against God, which offends God and therefore us as well. We could also will it with the hope for the conversion of sinners and for the sake of justice. At the same time, since we will suffer along with the wicked, be sure of what you hope and pray for...

Thanks, Dan
