press release: The
Social Security System (SSS) and the First Consolidated Bank (FCB) recently signed a memorandum of agreement to make payments of monthly contributions and loan amortizations more convenient for SSS Members thru the Automatic Debit Arrangement (ADA) Program. The ADA features one-time enrollment to the program after which social security contributions and loan amortizations will be automatically deducted from the SSS member’s bank account with FCB.
Enrolled SSS members will enjoy the convenience of avoiding the long queues at the bank or at the SSS office just to make monthly payments for SSS contributions and loan amortizations. This procedure eliminates voluminous forms to be filled up every time payments are made.
FCB will process SSS contribution and loan payments that will be automatically debited from the enrolled member’s deposit account (Current/ Savings/ PITAKArd). Remittance to SSS of these contribution and loan payments is promptly and efficiently made.
SSS Members qualified for this program are the following: Self-Employed SSS member, A Voluntary Member (including non-working spouse), a Household Employer, Employed Member with Salary and Housing Loans, a Member separated from employment with existing loan balances or an Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW)
To enroll with the ADA, the qualified SSS member will follow the procedure as follows: Open a DEPOSIT ACCOUNT IN ANY FCB BRANCH, which can be any of the following: PITAKArd Account, Savings Account or a Current Account.
The member may then accomplish the ADA enrolment form, which can be obtained from FCB branches or the SSS Office. and submits the completely filled up form to the FCB branch. The SSS member may then be asked to fill up an amendment form for any change of auto-debit arrangement with the Bank.
Once the enrollment is approved, the client’s contribution / payment shall be made on the 10th day of each month. SSS will inform the SSS member when the automatic deduction from their deposit account begins.
At the option of the client, the effectivity date that should be written on the Enrollment / Amendment form should be any date not earlier than the current month.
