NBI asks for more time to submit report on "talim-bala" scam

MANILA, Nov. 20 (PNA) -- The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) has asked the Department of Justice (DOJ) to extend the period within which to submit its report pertaining to the Tanim Laglag Bala (Talaba) scam at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).

The NBI Special Task Force was created by the DOJ to focus on the issue which only had a period of 15 days within which to submit its report to DOJ Secretary Alfredo Benjamin Caguioa.

The deadline for the submission of the NBI report expired on Nov. 18, 2015.

However, in the text message of DOJ Spokesman Undersecretary Emmanuel Caparas, he said that they held a meeting with the NBI Special Task Force that handles the case and the latter asked for an extension to submit the report.

According to Caparas, the NBI still needed to talk with the officials and employees of the NAIA. (PNA)

John 3:16-18 ESV
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son (Jesus Christ), that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
