MANILA, Philippines - After pioneering the e-Graduation project in Taguig City, Mayor Lani Cayetano is now eyeing
live video streaming over the internet of the free mass wedding rites or Kasalang Bayan to be held today as part of the city’s 425th Foundation Day celebration.
The Taguig City Public Informa¬tion Office (PIO) said the Kasalang Bayan, a joint undertaking of the Office of the Mayor and Civil Registry Office (CRO), will be held at Taguig City University (TCU) auditorium at 8 a.m.
Cayetano will personally solem¬nize the wedding of the couples, most of whom have been living together for so many years but could not afford to legalize their relationship due to financial difficulties.
