bitaw noh? mura man og namingaw ang Panglao Int'l Airport. diba balita sa una nga asugdan na gani to sa 2008 arong makahabol sa birthday ni Pangulong Gloria sa April 2010 pero hangtud karon gipanglugwayan pa diay og kabaw ni glacier...

Nindot jud og naa nay Panglao Int'l Airport arong maagni ang mga investor magtukod og mga five star hotels or resorts sa panglao. Unya naa sad direct flights from Middle East to Panglao. Owsss!!!

Diha pa gani toy balita nga magtukod og Bohol Regency Hotel diha sa pangalo pero hangtud karon wala pa gihapon.

Recent updates on the Panglao Bohol Airport Development Project:

1. Detailed Engineering Design was awarded to PhilJAC, a Filipino and Japanese consulting firm, in December 2008.

2. PhilJAC's survey teams are now at the project site for precise survey for building and other facilities layout preparatory to construction. Other activities for DED are ongoing.

3. About 30 Panglaoanons will be hired to clear the shrubs for one month. This is to complement the work of the survey teams.

4. The relocation site for qualified affected families is also undergoing subdivision survey.

5. PhilJAC has recommended the development of an additional access road leading to the airport terminal (which will become the main access road).

6. DOTC has already transferred 37.5 Million to the Prov'l Gov't as additional funding for payment of lots, improvements, and related activities.

7. Construction work is expected to start by first week of October 2009

8. Estimated time of completion is December 2010

Bohol with out International Airport will be a slow moving economy and less tourist. With the Airport we can create an economic zone and export directly to the world with out passing Cebu or Manila. It will increase our turn around time, that is very crucial in export.

The economic glitches is just temporary. Once the US will align and recover. Our airport will be very useful in term of tourist and export.

We must elect a leader who have a vision that Boholano will no longer go to another Province to work for a living. We must create jobs in Bohol.

Infrastracture is vital

Airport at its best is very good... but not in Panglao.... Do you know why? Youll find answers on fs they made... ( if its not favoring them , of course )

they can try build it at their own backyards............

kinahanglan na ang airport para makatukod ug taas nga building ang Tagbilaran. tan-awa ninyo ang mga building dire pulos mubo tungod kay masangit ang eroplano kung tag-as ang building. okay lang unta to kung ang eroplano molanding pareho sa helicopter.

Clearly, mao ra diay ang purpose aron matukuran taas nga building ang Tagbilaran?

Bahalag maunlod ang Panglao?

panglao without airport is the best thing the government can do..., dli nako ma-imagine ang noise pollution which can distract lots of tourist but this is good news for Anda kay i am sure mas daghan na hinoon mu-adto kay heavenly pa ang place kaysa busy and noisy panglao

Do we really NEED an International Airport in Panglao? Maayo pa maghimo ang goberno sa Bohol ug bag-ong airport "DOMESTIC" pero anha sa maayong location. "GOOD LUCK" nalang sa mga gustong magka Int'l, airport ang panglao. Akong ipa "SUNNY SIDE UP" ang usa nako ka itlog ug akong ipa "SCRAMBLE" ang usa kon madayon ang Int'l airport sa Panglao...hehehehee...

Murag di madayon ug sunny side up ug scramble imong itlog Nyor kay tungod sa global warming i ban na ning magtukod ug bag ong airport.
