curiosity got the better of me over this picture. i wish i know exactly where it is. tracing it on the internet highway, all i got were these tips so far.
its link is http://www.richard-seaman.com/Travel/Philippines/Highlights/BoholCoastalVillage.jpg so this is really in bohol.
its caption goes thus:
I was off to one of the Philippine's many fascinating islands, in this case Bohol. Here's the view coming in to land, with houses on the land and on stilts over the water, as well as arrow-shaped fish traps along the left-hand side of the photo. there could be many such small wharfs in bohol. if anyone can identify that white building on the right bottom of the building, then we'd know where this is really.
by a process of elimination... it's not dimiao. it's not valencia. it must be near tagbilaran if the plane the photographer was on was about to land. (he didn't specify that he was taking a private plane.)
yes, it could be manga as raqz proposes. i'm not familiar with manga's wharf though.
could it also be somewhere a bit further before tubigon, like where passenger boats from cebu anchor?
again, what is that white building at the lower right corner of the picture? i feel that would help identify this exact place. help. i wish to know where this is in bohol really.
