Acting Ombudsman Casimiro implements the 90-day preventive suspension against SP Sulit effective 15 June 2011
PRESS STATEMENT

Acting Ombudsman Orlando C. Casimiro implemented effective today (15 June 2011) the 90-day preventive suspension imposed by the Office of the President (OP) against Special Prosecutor Wendell Sulit.
          Malacanang earlier placed SP Sulit under preventive suspension for a period of 90 days in connection with the case filed before the OP regarding the Garcia plea bargain deal.
          The Implementation Order also directed SP Sulit to “cease and desist from performing official and administrative functions at the Office of the Special Prosecutor.”
