Old-age pensioners told to use GSIS e-Card
Published: December 17, 2006 by The Bohol Standard
All Government Service Insurance System old age pensioners must use their e-CARD as their monthly pensions will be credited into it starting January 1, 2007.
This was the advisory released by the GSIS Field Office under FO Manager Atty. Douglas Arturo Marigomen.
This means that they must use their GSIS e-CARD in order to withdraw their monthly pension in any ATM nationwide.
GSIS will no longer use checks to deliver their pensions but will electronically credit them to their GSIS e-CARD account.
Thereafter, monthly pensions will be credited in GSIS e-CARD account every 1st day of the month.
For GSIS Old age Pensioners of Bohol who have not yet enrolled, they are now enjoined to enroll at the GSIS Bohol Field Office located at the DBP Building, CPG North Avenue, Tagbilaran City, starting Monday, December 18, 2006 (resumption of e-CARD enrollment) to avoid suspension of their monthly pension payments.
Disability Pensioners have a separate program for e-CARD, however, Survivorship Pensioners are not covered by the program.
