“Missing†battered Boholana in Australia now safe with kids

The Philippine Consulate General has located the then “missing†battered young Boholana wife of a foreigner in Australia and assured she is safe now.
Ida Nisnisan Cuylenborg, 30, and her children Isis Angela, 9, and Ian Angelo, 8 are now staying in a rented house at 26 Beatnana Place, Homestead, Forest Lake in the suburb of Brisbane after leaving her abusive husband, Rian Cuylenborg.
Ida confided to Assistant Consul General Reena Gallardo Johnson, her husband slapped her on her nape and then pushed her onto the wall in one incident of physical harm.
Rian allegedly has an amorous affair with Ida’s Filipina friend in Australia named Edna Garrido, reported Johnson to Phil. Ambassador to Australia Delia Domingo-Albert and First Secretary and Consul Leah Basinang-Ruiz.
Ida met and married Rian in 1996 in Tagbilaran City and decided a year later to live in Australia, particularly in Cooper Plains, also a suburb of Brisbane.
But before they met, Ida married a Filipino here, Angelito Antopina, the father of her two kids earlier mentioned. Antopina died here in 1992.
Three months after Ida and Rian arrived in Brisbane, her children by her previous marriage followed to join them in Australia. Actually, Rian is formerly a Dutch national but who has been a naturalized Australian.
The trouble between Ida and her second husband started when Garrido, regarded by Ida as her best friend in Australia, and Rian developed what a consulate official described an “over familiarity†between them.
Garrido happens to be married, too although her husband, Australian Garry Kelly, already died. They have four children.
