Forbes Ranks SP Jain School of Global Management #20 in The Best International MBAs: One-Year Programs Ranking (2017-19)
The latest ranking places SP Jain School of Global Management in the company of top institutions like IMD, INSEAD, IE, Cambridge, Oxford, Warwick and SDA Bocconi.
September 28, 2017: For the fifth year in a row now, SP Jain School of Global Management’s (SP Jain) flagship Global MBA program has been ranked in the TOP 20 in the Forbes list of the world’s best 1-year International Full-Time MBAs.
The Forbes MBA rankings, along with Financial Times and The Economist, are amongst the most prestigious MBA rankings in the world, and SP Jain Global is the youngest school to get all three.
Forbes’ biennial ranking of the world’s best international MBA programs is based solely on the return on investment achieved by graduates. This year, the Forbes ranking compared the earnings of the Class of 2012 in their first five years post-MBA. SP Jain’s Class of 2012 reported close to a six-fold increase (2016) in salaries, from a pre-MBA salary. SP Jain has also ranked #1 in salary growth for all five years.
“Campus placements are often used to measure a School’s success. However, top rankings like Forbes, Financial Times and The Economist measure graduate outcomes over a period of time. This is a superior measure of success as they consider long-term student growth, and not just starting salaries,†shares Mr. Nitish Jain, President of SP Jain School of Global Management.
“Our ranking amongst the world’s best business schools by reputed international publications is a direct reflection of how well our graduates have been able to perform. To be the youngest school in the ranking is thrilling!â€
A distinctive highlight of the Global MBA program is its multi-campus model, and the School credits much of their global success to this. Dr. Indu Niranjan, Dean of the program shares, “Our goal is to train our graduates for top companies around the world. Our students have the unique benefit of studying in three cities – Singapore, Sydney and Dubai. They get to understand how to navigate and adapt in a global business environment – a skill much valued by recruiters. They undertake projects assigned by both local or global companies, interact with business leaders and thinkers, immersing themselves in different local cultures and developing important global skills. These skills, we hope will provide them the chance for personal development and better job opportunities.â€
SP Jain extends their gratitude and appreciation to all corporates, faculty, staff, partners and students on this joyous event.
