ABS-CBN News - Megastar Sharon Cuneta turned to microblogging site Twitter anew to defend herself against a a blind item, which she believes is about her.

In a series of tweets just a little past midnight on Sunday, Cuneta said she just wants to asure her followers that there is no truth to what was posted in the said article.

“I want to assure you all that there is absolutely no truth to this. Halos lahat ng pinopost niya sa akin since last year kasinungalingan. Proof? Balikan nyo at basahin ang mga naunang posts nya about me na blind items pa pero obvious naman ako,” she tweeted.

Cuneta was reportedly reacting to a post in the blog site fashionpulis.com, which said in an entry that a show of a certain controversial host or “CH” has not improved its ratings after a month of airing.

The blog post also added that the management has already instructed the production to plan the show’s remaining episodes.

The Megastar said she consistently gets text messages from her bosses, who are “very happy with the show.”

Cuneta even explained that just like any new show, her program also struggled in the beginning “because televiewers have developed habits that you have to pray you are able to change and it takes time to get used to watching a new show regularly until it too, becomes a habit of viewers.”

Lashing back at the writer of the blog entry, Cuneta said she is totally clueless as to why she is always the site’s blind item subject.
