Gretchen Barreto is currently facing 'wild rumours' this time not of hers personally but of an immediate family member, her daughter. Rumours have it that her daughter with partner Tony Boy Cojuangco, Dominique,

At an interview, Barreto preferred to be questioned regarding her ABS-CBN primetime soap that was shot especially in Bhutan, 'The Princess and I' than be badgered about her private life. She reiterated that their efforts and the outcome of the making in Bhutan makes the series worthy of discussion. She was very evasive in clearing the controversy that could have ended the rumours.
