CognizantWipro bags USD100m Munich Re deal IT outsourcing giant Wipro has sealed a USD100m, five-year outsourcing contract with German reinsurer Munich Re, outbidding major rival TCS. The deal involves infrastructure management services and application development. Further details about the outsourcing contract, however, were not immediately disclosed as both Munich Re and Wipro declined to comment about the deal. Earlier, Wipro and CloudGenix Inc announced partnership to offer open and managed software defined wide area networking products. The service enables a rich user experience and IT infrastructure cost optimisation.
