Some books are to be tasted, others to be swallowed, and some few to be
chewed and digested: that is, some books are to be read only in parts,
others to be read, but not curiously, and some few to be read wholly,
and with diligence and attention.
~ Francis Bacon ~

Recently, I finished reading 'Gods and Generals'.

Based on the life and experiences of General Stonewall Jackson.
Excellent historical lit, imho.

Recommended reading by Dr. Professor Bary Shapiro, Professor of Classics and US History. Allegheny College. Department of History and Classical Linguistics.

Imagine a land that has seen empires rise and fall. A place where people have killed for power and for religion, a place where people have died to protect their secrets and beliefs. This is the Languedoc, and this is the book that will share the mysteries of this incredible land.

The entire book.

Yes, thats what i did during post-exams. lol, how funny. After reading over 800 pages for medical pharmacology and immunopathology, i ended up reading another book for 'pleasure' lol!

:P

i think, i need a gf. in fact, i think i need to get married soon.

Kai, mingaw mingaw ang life of being a stressed 2nd year med student.

I need a woman to complete me.

Books can only do so much, ...:P
