He plays keyboard. Nag voice lesson na siya and I told him to continue kay nag-improve gamay and it really helps.

Mokanta ra ko'g balik kung ako ang makabuot sa kanta at least 3 out of 5 songs. ;D Tigkanta man ko heheheheh dire lang sa balay ug sa party ila ka Tia ug friends. ;D

Bitaw, pareha jud mi ug hilig like kanta and we don't like watching sports or doing it. Pero mahilig mi mag hike, bike and watch movies sa balay ra pod. Pareha mi dili ganahan mo tan-aw sa big screen for some reason.

hey day tiski unsa man nang imong gilili ha nga niyukbo man ka sa lamisa, ay eh lamisa ba na?

I woke up early to finish tons of cookies I had to decorate.  After I had it ready for mailing, I rushed to volunteer to  the Feed the Needy Program.  Oh, Smiffy joined me and we both had great time.  I am so, so tired right now but I felt good inside.

Tita Birdie, doing good things for others are not always convenient kay arang ka kapoy na kaayo akong legs but it's self fulfilling.  At the end of the day, I can tell that I am not doing this for others but for myself.   :)

Today, I miss my friends. Again.

This past Friday the 27th of June, I met up with my college compadres; Don, Bryan, Lisa and my sister Angel. Lisa, Angel and I drove to Newark International Airport to pick up Bry and Don this past Friday. We rented 2 rooms at Howard Johnsons and the next morning we took a beautiful tour to New York City: Chinatown, Little Italy, Downtown Manhattan and Central Park.

It was so beautiful. It rained but it made me laugh so hard as we ran away from the rain. lol.

"Finding" a cab was even more hilarious. :P

We drove back home on Saturday Evening.

Then on Sunday we drove to Atlantic City; where we went to Longport Beach and then to the slots in Atlantic City Casinos and the boardwalk.

I just came back after dropping them off at the Philly International Airport. Where I had to say goodbye to them again. Now I am missing them. 2 days went by like 2 hours.

Our next plan is to meet up again with all our friends some 5 years from now. Target trip will be in either Paris, or Berlin. One thing is clear; it will be somewhere in Europe.

To my college buddies;
I MISS you guys already. One Life. One Love.

Yours Truly,
Bran Lorenzo Lucino Jr.

I am excited! I am looking around for a nice apartment that I will be living in for the first 2 years of medical school during my basic sciences curriculum. I am so elated to find out that two of my study buddies are willing to live with me. So there is a possibility that I will be renting a 3 bedroom house with them; that or maybe a nice 3-4 bedroom loft.

Oh I'm so excited! I've recieved my first batch of medical books!!!!! SO im pretty excited and already started to play around with my books. I should be getting my 3 other books and study guides in the coming weeks.

All I need to do now is to find a nice surgical medical kit for anatomy. Hopefully lang maka find ko some that are within the 1-2k range.

Overall, very excited jud ko karoon!

Oooo 'te, gusto lang ko kanang maas barato ug apartment uy! LOL. Di ko gusto mo pay so much. Ning tang aw ko for a 1 person apartment pero ang range nila may is around 500-800 a month! Dios Ko! too much for a poor student like me.

Ning tawag ahong amigos that are attending my medical school that they are looking to find room mates. I think it would be a good idea to room with them kai at least this way maka study pood mi together diba?

Ug naa'y mi problem with a concept, naa ra sila to ask; or vice versa.

Plus, pood, if we rent a 3 bedroom house the monthly rent will be probably around 800-1000 pero if we get 3 people together we can just split the cost. So it will be probably 200-300 a month per person. So much feasible and practical, diba 'te?

Aguy! so much to do so little time till classes start.  :P :P :P :-X

I spent close to $2500 on book supplies, anatomy kits, a 5 foot 2 inch human skeletal model, visceral models, a very nice white coat for anatomy, a new stethoscope, gloves upon gloves, clipboards, papers, BRs reviews, USMLE1,2,3 review books.

Now I need to look for a new laptop.

Mao lagi 'te. Pero I'm so excited because my order for the 5'foot 2 inch human skeletal model will be arriving within 1-2 weeks time.

My housemate, Shirin, suggested we name him "Duey" hahaha.

The skeletal model alone broke my back, so to say, pero it is good investment b/c it will aid in the memorization of all skeletal parts, as well as knowing which muscle, ligament, tendon attaches to which origin.

Another study member of ours, Jeff, has already purchased 4 visceral models: Torso lumbar, cranial, reproductive, and the endocrinal.

Oh you should see my new books, 'te. I feel like im a kid again that is with his favorite toy, lol.

Today tho was a regular day. Work, summer internship, and then work some more.

Dong, how expensive is it to buy that human skeletal?  It seems like scary for me! lol

Depends on the model, 'te.

You can get a regular human skeletal model in different sizes.

For something that is 33 inches, it will probably be around 100-200
For something that is a 4 foot model, it is around 300-400
For the 5 foot model it is around 500+

The one I got, 'te, was the colored 5'foot model with attached ligaments to it (plastic); it also includes an anatomical atlas that shows which tendons, muscles, ligaments attach to which etc. It also includes a stainless steel stand. Good investment jud.

My model will look just like this one:

It will look just like this:

But that's really important to your studies so you jot to have that.  Can you then display that pohon in your clinic or that's gonna be a different model?
