DOLE resets TIPC meeting next week

MANILA, March 2 (PNA) -- The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) has reset the Tripartite Industrial Peace Council (TIPC) meeting next week.

The meeting, which was originally set at 3 p.m. Thursday at the Ople Hall of the DOLE building in Manila has been moved to second week of March.

"We will reset this meeting to early next week," Undersecretary Joel Maglungsod said.

The TIPC, composed of workers, employers and government representatives, serves as the clearinghouse of all labor polices, with the power to endorse proposed issuances to the DOLE chief.

Labor and Employment Secretary Silvestre Bello III supposed to head the meeting. He flew in from Dubai late afternoon.

They were scheduled to discuss the draft of a Department Order, that will help curb contractualization in response to the directive of President Rodrigo Duterte. (PNA)

John 3:16-18 ESV
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son (Jesus Christ), that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
